Mel Ashcroft

Mel Ashcroft began her career in advertising at MediaCom in London, England for luxury client LVMH Group. In 2010, she relocated to Toronto, Canada and started working as a marketing consultant, which ultimately led to co-founding designer management and production agency, THE COLLECTIONS™. Over the last decade, Mel and her partners built a community via attracting, incubating and elevating the next generation of Canadian designers here at home. They are best known for their collaborations with Toronto Fashion Week, Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (FashionCAN), Hudson’s Bay – DISCOVER THIS pop-up and inclusion in the Cadillac Fairview Toronto Style campaign.

Mel’s contribution to new business development and marketing for emerging designers has been recognized nationally and internationally by top-tier media publications for making a positive impact within the Canadian fashion industry.
