ROBERT BALL

VOCALIST

Born in Toronto, Robert Ball attended Claude Watson Arts Program and later studied part time at Humber College. Robert has traveled to and performed in over 60 countries as a featured vocalist and headliner with Royal Caribbean International. He has been a part of various musical theatre workshops and readings; vocal director “Funkentine Rapture” starring Tony Award Winner Lillias White, Principle/Ensemble – “Follow the Star”– starring Carol Woods (Grammy & Oscar Nominee), Ensemble – “We Ain’t Perfect” – Directed by Kenneth Roberson (Emmy Nominee), Principle – “Here’s What It Takes” written by Steven Page / Directed by Donna Feore, this is to name a few. As a solo artist and background vocalist Robert has been fortunate to share the stage with and open for; Mary Mary, Nikki Yanofsky, Keshia Chante, Mya, Big Freeda among others. Robert has also worked as a studio session singer, working with producers; Robbie Patterson ( known for – Snow, Jacksoul ), Promise ( known for – Montell Jordan, Drake), Ray Angry ( known for – Joss Stone, The Roots)… He has toured Pride circuits (Toronto, Jamaica, Brooklyn, DC, London ON). in 2020 Robert was asked to curate a solo cabaret he called “Bold Bruised Born to Be” for the the Stratford Festival virtual series “Up Close & Musical”. Most recently he appeared in “Freedom” a cabaret in the 2021 Stratford Festival season curated and directed by Beau Dixon. Robert can also be seen making his movie principle debut in “Christmas on 5th Avenue”. Robert is a vocal tutorial coach for Sheridan College and a vocal coach / mentor / teaching artist with NIA Centre for the Arts. He is currently in Chicago the Musical in the Stratford Festivals 2022 season. Roberts solo music can be found on all streaming platforms.

VALERIE STANOIS

VALERIE STANOIS

Vocalist

‘Powerhouse’ vocalist, Valerie Stanois, is an accomplished and award-winning entertainer who truly redefines the term “triple threat”. Her career has led her to Broadway and around the world performing on stage, television, radio, music videos, cruise ships, theme parks, casinos and numerous corporate events.

Valerie is most well-known for her portrayal of “Oz”, the rocker rebel, in the Original Canadian Production of Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’ and also starred in the Broadway and original Toronto productions of ‘Rock of Ages’. She has been noted to have “a real command of the stage”, “impressive stamina and disciplined vocal control” and has received a number of awards and nominations for her work. Other notable credits include: ‘Dee Snider’s Rock and Roll Christmas Tale’, ‘Hello Dolly’ and ‘Into the Woods’ at the Stratford Festival, Sillibub in ‘Cats’, Brook Wyndham in ‘Legally Blonde’, Rizzo in ‘Grease’, ‘Hair’ and many more. Her talents have also lead her to perform alongside such artists as Queen, Carly Rae Jepsen, Dee Snider of ‘Twisted Sister’, and has recorded a duet with Canadian Idol runner up, Rex Goudie, entitled ‘Won’t Have to Wait’ now available on Itunes.

EMILY HAU

Violinist

A vibrant violinist, Emily Hau is Principal Second of the “world-class ensemble” (Russelsheimer Echo, Germany) Sinfonia Toronto. Highlights from her recent active freelancing schedule include Assistant Concertmaster of the Bolshoi Ballet Tour, Principal Lead Role in the OLG “Courage” commercial, sub-work for the Mirvish production “The Book of Mormon”, orchestral tours in South America and China, session recordings for the award-winning video game “Cuphead”, and being a background performer in the Netflix show “The Umbrella Academy”.

Emily’s musical experiences over the years have allowed her to develop a unique and varied musical profile. Her love for diverse projects range from her work with the – Yamaha and D’Addario Artist – Dévah Quartet to performances backing up the likes of Barbra Streisand, Rod Stewart, Earth Wind & Fire, Kanye West, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, 2cellos, Peter Gabriel, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Brian Wilson and Diana Krall.
