Joyce Usher-Mesiano

Award-winning entrepreneur, Joyce Usher-Mesiano, was born in Dublin, Ireland, and immigrated to Canada in 1968. After graduating from university and after several years in the insurance industry, Joyce and two female business partners formed National Brokers Insurance Services Inc. in 1998. She is also President and co-founder of National Union Insurance Group Inc., which offers niche insurance coverage for unions and associations. In 2013 her company acquired Grant, Jones and Stuart Insurance Brokers Ltd. Joyce and her companies have established a reputation for challenging the status quo to offer superior insurance products, expertise, strategic advice and a competitive advantage while managing clients’ risk exposure. Her companies do business across Canada and provide connections to the international insurance world.
